SUPPORT AND OFFERINGS

Help keep our creative home alive

Dear Friends and Community,

I'm Debbie Baxter — creator of the Nest Project and owner of Blackbird Studio. Over the past six months we have grown rapidly: we installed an exhibition at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts with collaborators including the City of Beaverton Police Department and the City of Beaverton and secured a 2,000 sq ft studio in SE Portland, BLACKBIRD STUDIO: home of The Nest Project. However, the Reser show was underfunded, we didn’t receive the grants we had expected and we haven't yet caught up with the costs of the new studio. We are currently designing a vibrant creative hub with installations, art gallery, workshops, events, rentable studio space, and programs where people can freely express their creativity — and we urgently need community support to keep it alive.

ways that you can support or be a part of the growing community. we are currently looking for sponsors, partners, participants, and collaborators for our upcoming projects.
